Power up your senior years with Sarah’s Senior Strength class! This class is suitable for adults aged 65+, and is designed to help improve strength and mobility, balance and co-ordination, increase confidence in everyday movement. And not forgetting the opportunity to socialise and have fun with other class members! Suitable for all levels, no previous experience necessary.
Mixed Level Senior Strength:
Suitable for women and men who are currently active and have prior experience of resistance exercises.
Gentle Senior Strength:
Suitable for women and men who have little to no experience of strength exercises. A gently-paced class for those who need more support and instruction.

What is included in this class?
Each 1 hour class will include the following important fitness elements for your body:
1. Mobility and flexibility exercises to assist in the preservation and restoration of your range of motion in your muscles and joints
2. Strength exercises - with light weights and/or bodyweight – resistance training helps to prevent osteoporosis and reduce sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss) and can have a significant impact on the maintenance of independence in old age
3. Balance and co-ordination exercises to prevent and/or postpone age-associated decline
4. Cardiovascular exercises – to strengthen your heart and lungs and improve cardiovascular endurance
5. Breathing exercises – to improve lung function and to relax your body and mind
6. My class also offers you the opportunity to socialise and have fun with others.
